The Bishop Shanahan Golf Team defeated West Chester East, 194-197, Wednesday at Honeybrook Golf Club. Shanahan was managed by Matt Dietl (34), Ben Saggers (36), Jacob Chapman (41), Nicholas Zimmerman (41) and Danny Cerbelli (42). The host Vikings were led by Thomas Baschoff (36), Luke Berry (38), Brady Foytack (39), Jack Maguire (40) and Jeremy Coccia (44).
Unionville 196, Avon Grove 223 >> Nate Lyons led the way for the Longhorns (5-2 in the Ches-Mont American) with a nine-hole score of 37.
Devon Prep 195, Kennett 210 >> At Hartefeld National Golf Club, the top scorers for the Blue Demons boys/girls team (10-2 overall, 5-1 Ches-Mont American) were Grant Urie (40), Nick Vitale (42), Lily Kochersperger (42), Kasim Narinesingh-Smith (43) and Griffin Gaughan (43).

Unionville 178, Avon Grove 231 >> Longhorn senior Mary Dunigan led all scorers with a 39 in nine holes at Kennett Square Golf Club. Unionville’s other top scorers (5-0 Ches-Mont, 7-2 overall) were Mira Patel (46), Sarina Patel (46) and Reagan Wilson (47). Avon Grove was led by Emma Rabeno (53).
Downingtown East 193, Great Valley 238 >> The Cougars (7-1 Ches-Mont, 9-2 overall) were led by Silvana Gonzalez, who shot a 40 at the Whitford CC (9 holes, par 36). D-East’s other top scorers were Mia Pace (42) and Julia Nawalany (54). Elena Six led Great Valley with a 55.

West Chester Rustin 3, Bishop Shanahan 1 >> In Tuesday’s game Rustin (3-1 on aggregate, 2-0 Ches-Mont) got goals from Danny McGonagle and Danny Scoffone in the second half to take a 2 lead -0, before Shanahan’s Zander Dohmson scored to make it 2-1. JJ Jackson of the Golden Knights then scored with 10 minutes remaining. Rustin’s Evan Chappell finished the game with 4 saves while Shanahan keeper Shane Hughes finished the night with 10 saves.

Avon Grove 6, Oxford 0 >> On Senior Tuesday Night, host Avon Grove had two goals each from Keleigh Clausius and Allie Kressley, and three assists from Madison Britton. For Oxford, Abby Johnson, Ava McGlothlin, Mackenzie Clark and Lily Fay made several defensive saves.
